Staging Antigone in an Asian context

What are your ideas for how you could use your cultural knowledge of either being from or living in an Asian country to adapt Sophocles' Antigone to be relatable to an Asian audience. You may be specific about the country you choose.

Your justifications should explain very clearly what aspect of culture and beliefs you are trying to highlight.

Consider aspects such as setting, characterisation of the main characters, costumes, dialogue, motivations for the characters.
